Obituary Marilyn Beckler, 79, of Washington, passed away at 2:20 pm Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria. She was born July 12, 1936 in Bloomington, IL to Kenneth and Dorothy Fisher. She married Daniel Beckler on Nov. 17, 1957 in Minier, IL. He survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Karen Beckler, Ken (Beth) Beckler, Dan (Michelle) Beckler; 3 grandchildren, Ian, Graham and Ellie Beckler. She was preceded in death by her parents. Marilyn worked as a medical office assistant at the U of I School of Medicine before retiring. She was a member of Sweet Adelines International, Heart of IL Chorus. Memorials may be made to Northern Tazewell Rescue Squad. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Her Graveside service will be at 10 am Friday, June 24 at Minier Cemetery in Minier.
