Maria Christine Williams, 57, of Peoria, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Friday, September 29, 2023.

She was born November 4, 1965 in St. Louis, MO to Paul A. and Judith A. (Tyner) Pedretti.  She married Matthew E. Williams in Imperial, MO on June 30, 1997.  He survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Judy (Danny) Pitts; two daughters, Gabrielle Williams, Tyner (Peter) Galick; sister, Sue Pedretti; and numerous extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Paul; daughter, Jane; son, Matthew; and beloved Aunt, Kathie Gruber.

Maria worked as a computer programmer until 2012 before retiring.

She was a member of the Peoria Arts Guild and enjoyed reading, music and traveling. She was known for providing love and support to her extended family and friends wherever possible.

Cremation has been accorded.  A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Noon on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, IL.  Family will receive friends two hours before from 10am to Noon at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The World Central Kitchen, The Peoria Children's Home, or to The Trevor Project.
