Obituary Marguerite "Marg" Mary Wallace, 90, of Washington, IL, died at 4:23 pm Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Washington Christian Village in Washington, IL. She was born on February 18, 1921 in rural Washington to Michael and Gertrude DuBois Roth, she married Charles "Chuck" Wallace on November 24, 1948 in Washington. He preceded her in death in February of 1973 in Peoria, IL. Surviving are her sister, Dorothy Roth and her brother, Don Roth, both of Metamora, IL, a sister-in-law, Francis Johnson of Kentucky, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her dear friends, especially Jennifer. She was preceded in death by her parents. Marg worked at WRC in Washington for many years, and later worked at Bank Plus and Washington State Bank as a teller. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Washington where she helped as a money counter and with funeral dinners. A funeral mass will be at 10 am Thursday, November 3, 2011 at St. Patrick Church in Washington. Msgr. John Prendergast will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
