Obituary PEORIA-Margery A. Starnes, 86, of Peoria, IL, died at 7:12 pm on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at her home. Born on August 8, 1923 in Washburn, IL to Albert and Ethel Lisle Adami, she married Arvil G. Starnes on November 29, 1941 in Kohoka, MO. He survives. Also surviving are 2 sons; Floyd (Shiela) Starnes of Dunlap, IL and Mike (Neva) Starnes of Peoria; 1 sister, Rosemary (Kenneth) Gerber of Peoria; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. Margery owned Starnes Beauty Salon in Peoria where she was a beautician. There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
