Obituary EAST PEORIAa"Margaret M. Wahrenburg, 96, of East Peoria died at 2:10 AM on Wednesday July 15, 2009 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on April 24, 1913 in Emden, IL to Martin and Meta Dirks Rademaker, she married Herbert E. Wahrenburg on September 2, 1939. He preceded her in death on October 8, 1999 in Peoria. Surviving are 2 sons, Herbert L. (Pat) Wahrenburg of East Peoria, and Robert L. Wahrenburg of Thailand; 5 grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle) Wahrenburg of Switzerland, Dave Wahrenburg of East Peoria, Annette (Greg) Berry of East Peoria, Zach Wahrenburg of Chicago, and Paige (Dave) Lapen of California; and 3 great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brandon Berry of East Peoria and Hunter Wahrenburg of Switzerland. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and her parents. Margaret had been a member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Peoria, where she took on many volunteer roles. She was also a member of the Peoria Newcomer Alums, GFWC Illinois East Peoria Woman's Club and enjoyed playing bridge and golf. A funeral service for Margaret will be held at 10 AM on Monday, July 20, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Peoria where the Rev. Jim Bettermann will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19 from 4-6 PM at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
