Obituary Washington- Margaret Park, 95, of Washington died at 5:24 AM on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at her residence. She was born on July 10, 1914 in Poulton-le-Fylde, England to Robert Benjamin and Elizabeth (Sutton) Atkinson. She married Clifford W. Park on October 11, 1944 in Blackpool, England. He survives. Also surviving are granddaughter Sherry (Kerry Willey) Mitchell of Hopedale, IL; great grandson Robert (Brynn) Everett of Peoria; great granddaughter Devyn (Alex) Kriventchev of Port Orange, FL; and sister Emily Iddon of Garstang, England. She was preceded in death by son Norman Mitchell, 2 sisters Florence and Jean and her parents. Margaret retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co. in July of 1974 where she worked in Data Processing for 26 years. She enjoyed ballroom dancing at the Winter Garden in Blackpool, England and was of the Christian Faith. A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Mark Westman will officiate. Burial will follow at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. A visitation will be held from 10:30-11:00 AM prior to the services on Friday. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
