Margaret Haisch, 87, of Washington, passed away at 9:34pm Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Pekin Manor in Pekin.
She was born May 3, 1935 in Cleveland, OH to the late James T. and Mona R. Moore McFarlane. She married Al Haisch on October 12, 2002 in Peoria.
Surviving is her husband Al; two sisters, Pat Harris of Peoria and Elaine "Spanky" McFarlane of Ferndale, CA; two brothers, Mike (Sheila) McFarlane of Bloomington and Joe McFarlane of Chillicothe; many nieces and nephews; two step-sons, David and Donald; step-daughter, Beverly (Vince) Paperiello ; and two step-grandchildren, Emma and Cameron Paperiello.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, John, and Arthur "Butch" McFarlane, and one sisters, Caye Campbell.
She was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church in East Peoria, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and was a part of the Ladies' Guild and Watch. She belonged to the German American Society and sang with their mixed chorus.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at St. Monica Catholic Church in East Peoria, visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital- Midwest Affiliate.
