Obituary WASHINGTONa"Lynda Cheryl Millar, 62, of Washington, died at 7 AM Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at her home after a long battle with lung cancer and leukemia, the treatment of which was complicated by bipolar disorder. Born on August 29, 1944 in Chicago to Bernice Jane Forseth and Frank John Kolski, she married Philip James Millar on October 26, 1963 in Midlothian. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael J. (Susy) Millar of San Antonio, TX, and Timothy J. (Dawn) Millar of Littleton, CO; two daughters, Karen L. (Brian) Flaherty of Peoria, and Lori L. (Chris) Wieland of Cary, N.C. and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lance and Gary. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington, and a former member of the Women's Guild. She worked briefly at St. Patrick's School cafeteria. Early in marriage, she worked as a secretary at Standard Oil in Detroit. Lynda's proudest achievement was being able to experience being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a stay-at-home mother for 43 years. She also proudly supported the military. There will be a funeral mass at 10 AM on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Father Gary Caster will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Friday, March 16, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington with a prayer service at 6:45 PM. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Service MAR 17. 10:00 AM St. Patrick Catholic Church 705 E. Jefferson Street Washington, IL, US
