Obituary
Lunetta peacefully left this world on September 20, 2015 to join her heavenly father and beloved husband. She was born to Olive (Hare) Skinner Falk and William Falk on May 16, 1922 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. After the early death of her mother, she lived with her grandmother, Bessie Skinner during childhood and adolescence. She graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1940 and attended Business College in Omaha before marrying Leslie Hutchinson on June 14, 1942. They made a home with children Don, Roger, Marilyn and Ron.
Nettie was active in the First Methodist Church of Plattsmouth, was a past Matron of Order of Eastern Star, Home Chapter of Plattsmouth and contributed to many school related activities. Nettie was known for her great contributions to potluck suppers at the church and was an avid Big Red fan since high school.
Les and Nettie left Nebraska in 1966 but returned to Lincoln in 1969 where they were members of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church. They enjoyed traveling in their retirement.
She worked at the Cass County Board of Selective Service before marriage and the Phone Company in Plattsmouth in the 1960's. In Lincoln she was employed at First Methodist Church and Dorsey Laboratories/Sandoz.
Lunetta lived at The Legacy Estates in Lincoln and briefly at the Masonic Home in Plattsmouth before moving to care facilities in Kansas City and then Washington, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her husband Leslie, granddaughter Tammy Hutchinson, grandson Tanner Borne and siblings, Wayne Falk and Joyce Harter. She is survived by her children Don (and Shirley) of El Dorado, Kansas; Roger (and Elaine) of Washington, Illinois; Marilyn of Kansas City, Ron (and Jennie) of Lander, Wyoming as well as 7 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Lincoln, Nebraska ( 84th and South Street) on October 10, 2015. Visitation will be at 10 and the funeral service at 11.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
