Obituary EAST PEORIA - Lottie Mieth Schmidt, 91, of East Peoria, died at 5:10 a.m. on March 6, 2007 at her Residence. She was born on January 30, 1916 in Berlin, Germany, a daughter of Paul and Luise Rabi Karl, she married Kurt Hoffman in Berlin and later married Karl Mieth. He preceded her in death and she later married Wilhelm Schmidt, he also preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death is one son, Roland Hoffman and 1 granddaughter, Lorie. Surviving are one sister, Gisela Hull, of East Peoria; one step-son, Carl (and Carolyn) Schmidt of Atlanta, GA.; one step-daughter, Carolyn (and Mel) Tsopolas of Peoria Heights, IL, and also surviving are many Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Peoria, and also a member of the German- American Club. Graveside Services will be at 11 am Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Cremation Rites will be accorded. Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
