Obituary Lorrie A. Roberts, 91, of Washington, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria. She was born August 25, 1923 in Chicago, IL to Nicholas and Mayta Stelljes Auer. She married Kenneth W. Roberts on May 2, 1981 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Donna; and 2 sisters, Lila Borgstrom, and Marjorie Gordon. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Earl) Cochran of Germantown Hills; son, Dennis (Jan) Bishop of Hellertown, PA; 6 grandchildren, Carrie (Jamison) Mark of Basking Ridge, NJ; Christopher (Cindy) Bishop of Manchester, NH; Stefani (Scott) Lindsey of Washington; Tifani (Chad) Boettcher of Valparaiso, IN; Matthew (Catherine) Bishop of Brooklyn, NY; Angela (Gino) Salveo of Middletown, NJ; and 13 great-grandchildren. Lorrie was a member of the First Christian Church of Creve Coeur. She was also a member of the Rebekah's Lodge for over 60 years. Lorrie gave so much love and attention to her family and friends; she will be remembered for her many acts of kindness and service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to her church at 604 Groveland Street in Creve Coeur, IL 61610. Lorrie's Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria with Pastor Dwight Winnett officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
