Obituary Lorraine Susan Terry, 67, of East Peoria, IL died at 7:40 am Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Washington Christian Village in Washington while her husband, Rick, was holding her hand. Born on September 29, 1949 in Peoria, IL to Carl and Betty King Rohl, she married Ricky L. Terry on December 20, 1969 in Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are 2 children; Amy (Chris) Jones of Morton, IL and Brian (Angela) Terry of Groveland, IL, 3 Grandchildren; Megan Jones, Brock Terry, and Abigail Jones, 2 sisters; Gloria (Mark) Lehn of Findley, IL and Joyce (Greg) Dively of Chillicothe, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother, Mary Rohl. Lorraine was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed painting and drawing, and shared that talent with her grandchildren. She also loved gardening and planting flowers. A service will be at 6 pm Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Gary Salm will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice.
