Obituary EAST PEORIAa"Lorraine Jordan, 76, of East Peoria, died at 9:12 PM on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on May 6, 1931 in Peoria, IL to Frank W. and Sophie Lappin Mattlin, she married Robert "Bob" L. Jordan, Sr. on October 4, 1958 in East Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Robert L. (Sandy) Jordan, Jr. of Metamora, IL, and Dr. Kenyon (Shar) Jordan of Castle Rock, CO; 1 grandson, Robert L. Jordan III of Metamora; 2 granddaughters, Andrea and Haley Jordan of Castle Rock, CO. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Eileen and 1 brother, Fred. She enjoyed raising her family and being a homemaker. Lorraine was a member of the Proctor Hospital Service League, the Sweet Adelines, and the Red Hat Society. She had also served as a Tazewell County Election Judge. A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, February 24 at Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria. The Rev. Douglas Lightly will officiate. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home, from 2-4 PM. Cremation rites have been accorded.
