Obituary
WASHINGTON- Loring Eric Julien, 54, of Washington, IL, died at 3:12pm Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Born on March 26, 1954 in Peoria, IL to Robert H. and Jeanne Barr Julien, he married Brenda Ruth Giebiner on May 6, 1988. He later married Michelle Julien.
Surviving are 2 sisters Leri (Charlie) Slonneger of Washington and Theda "Teddy" Roe of Dahinda, IL, 1 brother, Robert H. Julien II of Washington, 4 nieces and nephews, and his black Labrador, Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Christina Jeanne Julien.
A US Army veteran, Loring served from 1971-1973.
Loring worked as a self employed contractor, last working for Grebner Construction and Butch Harkins, both in Washington. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and reading.
Graveside services for Loring will be at 1 pm Monday, March 2, 2009 at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to T.O.U.C.H. at Children's Hospital of Illinois Cardiac Kids.
