Obituary WASHINGTON - Loretta L. Felker Gordon, 70, of Washington, died at 6:23 pm Saturday, January 20, 2007 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on February 6, 1936 in Groveland Township, IL, to Charles C. and Matilda M. King Felker, she married Robert E. Gordon on January 11, 1958 in Streator, IL. He survives. Also surviving are 4 sons, Kevin (Kari) Gordon of Carlsbad, CA, Gregory (Darlene "Buffy") Gordon of Washington, IL, Douglas (Denise) Gordon of Windsor, CO, and Randy Gordon of Studio City, CA, 1 daughter, Cynthia (Ken) Sergio of Gilbert, AZ, 4 sisters, Doris Dully of Metamora, IL, Betty (Joseph) Shaw of Sun City, AZ, Joan Miller of Manito, IL and Sandra (James) Miller of East Peoria, IL, 2 brothers, Eugene (Delores) Felker of Morton, IL and Raymond (Donna) Felker of East Wenachee, WA, and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 infant daughters, and 1 brother, Melvin Felker. Loretta was a licensed beautician and also worked as a sales clerk at Sentimental Journey in Washington. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Pine Lakes Lady Birds golf league in Washington. She was considered a "Candy Maker Extraordinaire" and was well known for her generous giving of candies throughout the holidays. She also had an extensive collection of elephants and was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington. A funeral mass will be at 10am Thursday, January 25, 2007 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington. The Rev. Joseph P. Donton will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington, with a prayer service at 6:45 pm. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria.
