Obituary Loren Wilson Highley, 82, of Washington passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 1:30P.M. At Washington Christian Village. Loren was born May 24, 1933 to William Henry and LaVada Smith Highley in Poplar Bluff, MO. He married Nancy Orndoff on August 17, 1956 in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are his Daughters, Cynthia (Michael) Corley and Karen Trumpy, both of East Peoria; grandchildren, Brandy (Tom) Sassman, Jacob Kemper and Brandon Kemper; sister, Joyce (Steve) Schneider; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ruby, Mary, and James; and one great grandson. Loren worked at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton in maintenance, retiring in 1999. He was an active member of his church for over forty years. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday August 6, 2015 at Beverly Manor Missionary Baptist Church in Washington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Private burial will be at Fon du lac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
