Obituary Lorain R. "Lori" Pryor, 62 of Washington, passed away at 3:55 pm Sunday, April 2, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. She was born Feb. 14, 1955 in Peoria to Kenneth and Beverly Stodd Grosenbach. She married Robert Pryor in Peoria on Sept. 22, 1989. He survives. Also surviving are her mother, Beverly Grosenbach of Washington; brother, Loni Grosenbach of Washington; sister, Lynn (Bruce) Campen of Germantown Hills; nephew, Ethan; 4 nieces, Samantha, Sydney, Nykki, Haley; mother and father-in-law, Nancy and Jerry Pryor of Rushville; and 3 brother-in-law's, Rodney, Rick and Ronald. She was preceded in death by her father; and sister-in-law, Lisa Pryor. Lori worked at Beck's Florist and then as the office manager with Sanders Tools/Blackhawk Industrial retiring in 2014. Lori fought a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. She loved her animals, Dakota, Montana and Sassy. She loved working outside and around the house with her husband and the beautiful home that they built. Our family would like to send a very special Thank You to Shannon, Lori's caregiver during this past year. Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life service will be held at 6 pm Friday, April 7, 2017 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Family will receive friends 2 hours prior from 4 pm until service time on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Illinois CancerCare or Susan G. Komen Foundation.
