Obituary Lois P. Kazense, 79, of East Peoria, passed away at 5:40 a.m. Wednesday, April15, 2015 at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton. She was born April 18, 1935 in Pekin, IL to Jim and Verna Toland Joerger. She married Jim Kazense. He preceded her in death, along with her parents. Surviving are three children, Brad (Pat) Hall of Morton, Nan Hall of Morton, Matt Phillips of Forsyth; four grandchildren, Pam (Bob) Gonigam, Angie (Jim) Carmany, Ben Phillips, Brock Phillips; and her sister, Jan (Jack) Blair of East Peoria. Lois worked as a florist before retiring. She was an avid Cubs fan and loved spending time on the river boat playing the slot machines. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton or Unity Point Hospice in Peoria. Private burial will be held at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
