Obituary Lisa Marie Mamer, 43, of Washington, IL died at 8:45 pm Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. Lisa had a zest for life. She lived a full life in only 43 years, and possessed many gifts and talents, being remembered for her keen sense of humor. She handled her Huntington's disease with such grace, never letting it get the best of her. Born on May 25, 1973 in Euclid, OH to Carl A. and Eileen M. Krasovec Ross, she married Michael J. Mamer on June 7, 1997 in East Peoria, IL. He survives. She is also survived by her 3 beloved children, Makayla, Hunter and Kyah, all at home, whom she was extremely proud of and loved greatly, her parents, Carl and Linda Ross of Washington, IL, 4 siblings, Laura Kellenberger, Kelly (Hans) Ritter, and Austin (Ashley) Street all of Washington, IL and Ashley Street of Peoria, IL, her mother-in-law, Lynn Mamer of East Peoria, IL, brother and sister-in-law, Matt (Heidi) Mamer of East Peoria, IL and several nieces and nephews, Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Eileen, her father-in-law, Jim Mamer, and her grandparents. She was a 1991 graduate of Washington Community High School. She then graduated from Oehrlein School of Cosmetology in East Peoria, working at Totally You Hair in Morton until 2006. In earlier years, Lisa was a member of 4-H and received many championship awards for her showing of Arabian horses. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Washington. A funeral mass will be at 10 am Saturday, February 11, 2017 at St. Patrick Church in Washington. Father Steve Willard will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-7 pm Friday, February 10, 2017 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, where recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 pm. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to OSF Healthcare Foundation for Huntington's Disease.
