Linda L. Watts, 74, of East Peoria, passed away at 7:42 pm Friday, September 24, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. She was born February 13, 1947 in Peoria, IL to the late Albert and Virginia Bohm Routt. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Diane Pierson; and one brother, Randy Routt. She married Robert J. Watts in Peoria on January 8, 1972. He survives. Also surviving is two daughters, Amy (Angela) Watts, and Lisa (Matthew Garcia) Watts; one grandson, Zane Michael Watts; two brothers, Steven (Juanita) Routt, Roger (Wanda) Routt; five nephews; one niece; and her beloved fur babies, Chandler Roger Watts and Tsingtao Snoopy Garcia. Linda worked at OSF St. Francis Hospital before retiring. She enjoyed WWE Wrestling, shopping, animals, and any sweets. She will be dearly missed. Cremation has been accorded. A private service will be held at a later date. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation or TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter in Pekin.
