Obituary EAST PEORIA-Linda D. Rigg, 60, of East Peoria, IL died at 9:55 AM Monday, June 3, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, following a 34 month battle with cancer. She died peacefully, surrounded by family. Born on April 29, 1953 in Atlanta, GA to Roy and Lillie Mae Gibson Causey, she married Clifford W. Rigg on September 9, 1978 in Springfield, IL. He survives. Also surviving are 1 daughter, Jacquelyn (Clarence) Wilson of San Diego, CA; 1 son, Christopher Rigg of East Peoria, IL; her father, Roy A. Causey Jr. of Fayetteville, GA; 1 brother Bud (Sue) Causey of Racine, WI; and 1 sister Robbie (Roger) Anderson of Douglasville, GA. She was preceded in death by her mother. Linda graduated from Southwest Baptist College with a degree in Sociology in 1975, but dedicated her life to being a stay-at-home mom and wife. She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Peoria. Funeral Services will be at 10 AM Friday, June 7, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Pastor Joel Newton will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
