Obituary EUREKA - Linda Sue Campbell, 62 of Eureka, IL and formerly of Washington, IL, died at 3:00 am Sunday, August 14, 2011 at her home. Born on October 16, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to Norman and Glenda Hurt Probst, she married Charles L. "Chuck" Campbell on April 12, 1975 in Chillicothe, IL. He survives. Also surviving are her children; Laurie (Chris) Wilder of LaRose, IL, Bob DeLong of Washington, IL, Chase Campbell of Sunnyland, IL, Scott Campbell of Galesburg, IL, Dan (Ginny) Campbell of Pekin, IL, and Cathy Stayer of Washington, IL, her siblings; Millie (Jerry) Lofler of Daytona Beach, FL, Dan (Diane) Probst of St. Louis, MO, Ricky (Kelly) Probst of Fenton, MO, Paul (Karen) Probst of Columbia, MO, and Theresa Burgess of Hillsboro, MO, 14 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother. Linda worked in the Neo-Natal Unit at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria for 25 years, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandkids. Her family would like to make a special acknowledgement to Illinois Cancer Care and Methodist Hospice for all their loving care during Linda's illness. Visitation for Linda will be from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Memorials may be made to Children's Hospital of Illinois or Illinois Cancer Care.
