Lila Marie Lidgard, 94, of Washington, IL, died at 4:54 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in Washington.

Born on August 8, 1929 in Versailles, IL to Lyman Robert and Alice Moreen Kendrick Hetrick, she married Wayne A. Lidgard on August 9, 1947 in Mt. Sterling, IL.  He preceded her in death on April 30, 2004 in Peoria, IL.

Surviving are 4 children; James (Kristine) Lidgard of Washington, IL, Sandra (Joseph) Clayton of Washington, IL, Linda (Harold) Harness Jr. of East Peoria, IL, and Paula (Rex) Winemiller of Washington, IL, 1 brother, Robert (Mary) Hetrick of North Pekin, IL, 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Kathryn Beddingfield and Joann (Donald) Hale.

Lila worked at Hunt's Restaurant from 1962-1963, at Foster-Gallagher from 1967-1969, and in the sewing room at Methodist Hospital in Peoria from 1971-1977.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She also was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Washington, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Services will be at 11 am Monday, January 8, 2024 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Washington.  Pastor Jack Wilcox will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton.
