Obituary East Peoria- Lawrence J. (Larry) Norris, 75, of East Peoria died at 3:35 pm Sunday, November 21, 2010 at his home. He was born October 15, 1935 in Roodhouse, IL to Cecil and Martha (Herron) Norris. He married Gladys M. Frazier November 14, 1959 in Jerseyville, IL. She survives. Also surviving are his daughter Cynthia (Paul) Creamer of Peoria; two brothers, Donald (Beverly) Norris of Jerseyville, IL and Lindel Norris of Peoria; and a sister-in-law, Carol Norris of Normal, IL. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Everett E. and Cecil M. Larry served in the US Air Force from 1954-1957. He was a machinist with Hyster Company in Peoria until he retired. After retirement he was self-employed in the small engine repair business. While at Hyster, Larry participated in several bowling and golf leagues. After retiring, he enjoyed fishing, traveling and his monthly lunch outings with the "Mutley Crew."
