Obituary FARMINGTON- Lawrence A. Blackmore, 51, of Farmington passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 2:29A.M. at his residence. Larry was born on December 24, 1963 in Peoria to Jack Sr. and Nancy Tipton Blackmore. He married Sherry Miller in August of 1983. They later divorced. Larry is survived by his children, Brandy (Ryan) Blackmore Driskill of Bartonville and Lawrence L. Blackmore of East Peoria; grandchildren, Gage Blackmore and Madalyn Rynearson; longtime girlfriend, Valerie Williams of Farmington; mother, Nancy Blackmore of Peoria; siblings, Jack (Kathy) Blackmore Jr. of Farmington and Janet (Harry Chip) Fulton of Bartonville. He was preceded in death by his father. He attended Woodruff High School in Peoria. Most recently, Larry worked for Prairie Farms in Peoria. Larry enjoyed horror movies and comic books. He was known by his friends as "Batman"; his great personality and friendship will be missed by all. Memorial contributions may be made to TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter in Pekin. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering for Larry on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from noon-4:00P.M. at The Shot Spot in Bartonville.
