Obituary LaVerne M. Grebner, 84, of Washington, IL, died at 8:11 pm Friday, October 15, 2010 in Washington. She was born on November 14, 1925 in rural Worth Township, Woodford County, IL to Jasper A. and Lena J. Krause Reynolds. Surviving are 3 children; Cheryl A. (Mark) Beemer of Carol Stream, IL, and Terry G. (Paulette) Grebner and Vickie L. (Wayne) Potts, both of Washington, IL, 5 grandchildren; Sarah (Wil) Harper, Nicholas Cohen, Adam Beemer, Haley Grebner and Dustin Grebner, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Vernon Reynolds and Melvin Reynolds, and 1 sister, Dorothy Schneider. LaVerne worked as a cook at the OSF Motherhouse in Germantown Hills until her retirement. An avid baseball fan, she enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals. Services for LaVerne will be at 10 am Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Mark Westman will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Monday, October 18, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in rural Washington.
