Obituary METAMORA- Kyler Reese Marshall, 4, of Metamora died at 12 noon from complications due to his severe disabilities on Monday June 8, 2009 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Kyler was born on April 27, 2005 in Peoria to Bradley and Alecia Wendte Marshall. They survive. Also surviving are 1 sister Brooklyn Nikolle Marshall; paternal grandparents Gary and Debi Marshall of Metamora; maternal grandparents Donald and Patricia Wendte of Watson; maternal great-grandmothers Roselle McClure of Effingham and Dolores Schoenhoff of Watson; and 2 uncles Brett (Amy) Marshall of Arlington, TX and Eric Wendte of Washington. Kyler enjoyed playing with his sister and also enjoyed being outside and listening to all the sounds of nature, especially birds. He also fell asleep to music each night. A service to celebrate Kyler's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 12, 2009 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Reverend Thomas Heren will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, June 11 at the funeral home with a special visitation for Kyler's young friends from 4:30-5 PM.
