Obituary Moorseville, IN - Kevin L. Carter, 52, of Moorseville, IN formerly of East Peoria, IL passed away at 6:00PM on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at his home in Mooresville, IN. Kevin was born on July 11, 1960 to Raymond and Donna Wageman Carter. They survive. Also surviving is one son, Michael (Kari) Carter of Peoria; a granddaughter, Abigail Carter; a sister, Debra Pumphrey of Pekin; step-father, Larry Buchanan of East Peoria; step-mother, Earline Carter of East Peoria; a step-sister, Cathy Buchanan of Calumet City; a step-brother, Jeff (Tina) Buchanan of Kenosha, WI; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Kevin was a carpenter for all of his life. He was a devoted NASCAR/Tony Stewart fan. He was also a lover of animals. Honoring Kevin's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebrating Kevin's life will take place at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in East Peoria. Pastor Fred Doughty will officiate. Visitation will take place on Thursday at the church from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. Private interment of cremains will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora.
