Keith Curtis Hollaway, 74, of Washington, passed away at 11:15 am Thursday, September 16, 2021 at his home. He was born September 13, 1947 in Peoria, IL to Marion C. and Margot C. Lucke Hollaway. He married Stephanie L. Belk in Groveland, IL on January 31, 1981. She survives. Also surviving is three daughters, Christina (Joseph) Clarke, Cathlina Hollaway, Catrina (Jon) Roush; two grandchildren; sister, Margot Hellseth; brother, Kevin (Liz) Hollaway; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Mary Muggler. Keith was a United States Navy Vietnam War Veteran. He worked at Keystone Steel and Wire for 25 years before retiring. He was a member of American Legion Post 100 in Washington, the National Rifle Association, Illinois State Rifle Association, and Chillicothe Sportsmen's Club. Cremation has been accorded. Visitation will be from 5 to 7pm Friday, October 22, 2021 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Illinois CancerCare.
