Obituary Keith A. Allard, 58, of Washington, IL died at 3:40 pm Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at his home. Born on June 28, 1952 in Red Bud, IL to Kenneth and Katherine Neill Allard, he married Vickie A. Garth on July 20, 1971 in Hillsboro, MO. She survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters, Angela (B.J.) Gingerich of Mackinaw, IL, Amy Howard of Peoria, IL, and April (Anthony) Rodgers of Washington, IL, 8 grandchildren; Justin Gingerich, Cory Hill, Ashley Gingerich, Isaiah Howard, Emma Rodgers, MaKayla Howard, Jasmine Kitchens, and John Rodgers, 1 sister; Lana (Richard) Zinn of Aurora, CO, 1 brother; Kenneth Allard of San Bernadino, CA, and 1 niece, Ronnie Martell. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 nephew, Derek Branson. He was a US Army veteran, serving as a medical corpsman. Keith was the Manager at Merlin's Muffler in East Peoria, last working in October of 2010. He also had worked as a Manager at Penske of Peoria and Kmart Auto Centers. He was a member of the American Legion Post #100 in Washington, a Cub Scout Leader for Pack #206, and was active with the Sunnyland Phoenix Action Group. A memorial service will be held at 10 am Monday, May 16, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, where visitation will be from 9-10 am. An additional visitation will be from 2-4 pm Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial of cremated remains will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
