Obituary

Obituary Kazue "Lily" Troxell, 80, of Washington, IL, died at 5:25 am Monday, May 16, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born on March 5, 1931 in Yokohama, Japan, to Ryuichi and Fusae Osuga Sasaoka, she married Lincoln C. Troxell on November 2, 1951 in Tokyo, Japan. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2009. Surviving are 2 sons, Richard (Rebecca) Troxell of Ft. Walton Beach, Fl, and Lee (Pat) Troxell of Pekin, IL, 3 daughters, Barbara (Michael) Stinson of East Peoria, IL, Cynthia (John) Lovelace of Kyle, TX, and Robin Sasaoka (Paul Sessler) of Portland, OR, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Lily worked in the Cafeteria at Illinois Central College for 21 years, retiring in 1997. She also volunteered at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria for several years. It was Lily's wish to have no visitation or service. Her body will be donated to medical science. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
