Kayla J. McGrane, 69, of Washington, passed away at 8:08am Saturday, December 10, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born March 7, 1953 in Peoria to the late Lee and Barbara (Jones) Cheney.  She married Gary L. McGrane in Peoria on December 28, 1969.  He preceded her in death on August 9, 2017.

Surviving are her son, Matthew (and companion, Rachel) McGrane; daughter, Cyndy (David) Pederson; and eight grandchildren.

Kayla worked at the Salvation Army from 1989 - 2013 as food service coordinator.  She will be dearly missed.

Cremation has been accorded.  A celebration of life service will be at a later date.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
