Kathryn L. "Kathy" Forgason, 75, of Washington passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Kathy was born on October 10, 1950, in Bloomington, the daughter of the late Ralph and Virginia (Robison) White. Kathy married Robert "Bob" Forgason on September 1, 1979, together they enjoyed 32 years of marriage before his passing in 2011. Kathy worked for many years until she retired at Methodist Hospital in Peoria. During her free time, she loved to play cards with friends and the senior group at Five Points Washington, fishing, and keeping up with her TV shows. Most of all Kathy loved spending time with her family; she was a talented baker and made the best desserts for all her family functions.

Kathy is survived by her daughters Cheryl Forgason of Mapleton, Danette (Randy) McCall of Washington, her son James (Stacy) Campbell of Washington, 9 grandchildren: Miranda (Eric) Richmond, Zach (Ryan) McCall, Tristin Campbell, Brenna, Griffin, and Jaden Hall, Quaid, Paxton, and Jovie Moss, 4 great-grandchildren: Harper, Aurora, Tyler, and Evelyn. She is also survived by her sister JoAnn (John) Kahl of W. Terre Haute, IN, her sister-in-law Pat White of Peoria, as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kathy was preceded in death by her brothers Cary and Ralph White.

A visitation for Kathy will be held on Monday, April 6, from 4-6 pm at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. An additional visitation will be on Tuesday, April 7, from 9 am until the 10 am funeral service also at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Gorby will celebrate the service. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
