Obituary Kathleen Vanetti, 92, of East Peoria, formerly of Royalton and Herrin, passed away peacefully at 1:45am Thursday, February 9, 2017 at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria. She was born November 4, 1924 in Murphysboro to Alfred and Ruth Stanton Lane; they preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cesare Vanetti; daughter, Donna Martin; two brothers; three sisters, including her twin Emegene Lane; and her dear friend and sister-in-law Catherine Myers. Surviving is her daughter, Janet (Greg) White of East Peoria; grandchildren Danielle White of East Peoria, Shawn (Lynne) White of Oswego, Cody Vanetti of Royalton; great-grandson, Dylan Vanetti of Royalton; great-granddaughters, Caroline Margaret and Chayse Kathleen White of Oswego; five nephews and two nieces. Kathleen enjoyed her word search puzzles and any movie John Wayne made. A celebration of Kathleen's life will be held from 12:00pm-4:00pm, Sunday February 19, 2017 at 200 Gem St. in East Peoria. A memorial service in Royalton will be announced at a later date, and inurnment will be at Miners Cemetery in Royalton at that time.
