Obituary East Peoria-Justine "Peggy" Sadler, 83, of East Peoria, passed away at 3:08am, Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Peggy was born August 23, 1929 in Jackson, MO to William and Lillie Clippard Haupt. She married Joseph Sadler December 23, 1950 in Jackson, MO; he survives. Also surviving are one son, Steven (Gail) Sadler; one grandson, Matthew (Sara) Sadler; one great-grandson, Wyatt Sadler; one sister, Marilyn McMillan, all of East Peoria; a niece and nephew, Erin Viviani and Scott McMillan; and many close family friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Peggy retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co. after 35 years of service. While at Caterpillar, she worked in various roles in the engineering office. In her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at OSF St. Francis Medical Center and traveling with her husband and grandson. She was a longtime member of Roland Manor Baptist Church in Sunnyland. Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family, especially playing poker and hosting family fish frys. Services for Peggy will be at 11:00am, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory, Washington. Visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Hardin will officiate services. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Morton.
