Julie Klings, 66, formerly of Washington, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, after battling early onset Alzheimer's for several years.

Julie was born January 28, 1960 in Peoria to Robert F. and Roberta (Herbst) Klings. Her dad preceded her in death in 2020.

Her mom, Bert, survives, along wit her daughter, Allie Vaughn, and her brother, Dave (Nicole) Klings and their family.

A celebration of Julie's life will be held at 12:30pm Thursday, July 9, 2026 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington, with a luncheon to follow. Inurnment will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
