Judy Cumming, 76, of East Peoria, passed away at 5:02am Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at UnityPoint Health Methodist. She was born September 27, 1947 in Peoria to the late Harry and Ima Rogers. Surviving are her children, Melinda Frank, Jason Frank, Rocky Gibson (Amber Johnson), Teresa (Craig) Dyer, Julie Gibson, Haley Helfers and Angel Cumming; grandchildren, Ricky, Abby, Dylan, Kayla and Jake; siblings, Linda Church, Trinda Auen, Harry Rogers, and Lisa Chamblin. Judy loved to fish; if there was a good spot, she knew about it. She was a devoted mom, caring for many foster kids in addition to her own, and she took great pride in caring for Haley. She loved working in her yard, especially tending to her roses. She also loved her dogs, giving a good home to so many of them over the years. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund for Haley's future care.
