Obituary Judith "Judie" M. Heath, 72, of East Peoria, passed away at 10:28pm Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born June 18, 1941 in Peoria to Joseph and Marie Noll Nau, she married Edward C. Heath on January 14, 1961 in Peoria. He preceded Judie in death July 2, 2009. Surviving are her children, Jackie Heath Montgomery of Pekin, Patsy Heath of East Peoria, Ray (Susan) Heath of Morton, and Jim (Jamie) Heath of Peoria; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe (Jackie) Nau of Peoria and James Nau of Rome; brothers-in-law, Jim (Deb) Heath of Wasola, MO and Don Mucciante of Pekin; and sister-in-law, Donna Heath of East Peoria. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline Nau Mucciante; sister-in-law, Vada Nau; brother-in-law, Calvin Heath; and her parents. Judie liked the simple things, like gardening and going for car rides. She was an ordained Baptist minister and enjoyed ministering to those in nursing homes. She was a longtime member of the Richland Southern Baptist Church in East Peoria. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids. She was loved by everyone and will be missed. Funeral services for Judie will be held at 5:00pm Monday, November 11, 2013 at Richland Southern Baptist Church, East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. The Rev. Gary England will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services; Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory, East Peoria is serving the family.
