Obituary EAST PEORIAa"Joyce C. Sablotzke, 74, of East Peoria, died at 11:31 PM on Monday, July 30, 2007 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on June 25, 1933 in Pontiac, IL, to Raymond and Ethel Camp Ross, she married Robert L. Sablotzke on September 10, 1983 in Peoria. They would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary next September. Survivors include her husband; 1 daughter, Sherrie (Stephen) Frazier of Washington, IL; 3 sons, Roy (Lisa) Barrett of Christiana, TN, Doug Barrett and Dan Barrett, both of Washington; 4 step-daughters, Marcia (Les) Wilwerding of Holland, MI, Lisa (David) Barnes of Eldon, MO, Robin (Steven) Clark and Melisa Bugbe, both of Rockford, IL; 1 sister, Shirley Beach of Pontiac, IL; 2 brothers, Jerry (Toni) Ross of Standard, IL and Tom (Jan) Ross of Cambridge, WI; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Joyce worked as a Nurse's Aid at OSF St. Francis Medical Center for over 13 years and retired to go over the road with her truck-driving husband Bob and their dog Buster. Joyce loved to square dance, but her family was her first priority as well as her favorite pastime. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, August 3, 2007, at Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria. The Rev. Jeff Browning will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
