Joyce Dann, 88, of Washington, passed away at 3:00am Monday, April 17, 2023 at Washington Senior Living.

She was born April 2, 1935 in Guffey, PA to the late Floyd and Mae Marks Stalker. She married Martin J. Dann, Jr. on April 24, 1954 in Bradford, PA; he preceded her in death in 2009.

Surviving are their children, Marcie (Russ) Heisel, Lori Gulley, Jim (Dana) Dann, Jeff (Dale) Dann Heuser, and Jonathan (Rebecca) Byler Dann; 11 grandchildren, Corey (Sarah) Heisel, Andrea (Todd) Banbury, Leah (Keith) Tay, Tommy (Hannah Dixon) Kempf, Hannah (Joe) Harrold, Michael (Erin) Dann, Soren, Stella, Iris, Jude, and Ruby Byler Dann; 18 great-grandchildren, Martin and Reagan Heisel,  Kendra and Skyler Banbury, Rylan and Cadence Hambleton, Mason and Michael Tay, Journey Dixon, Makenna and Cooper Harrold, Carson, Cayleb, Cielyn, Carrigan, Michael, Max, and Maeve Dann.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings Harry, Lyle, and twin sister Janet, and her grandson Joshua Bruce Kempf.

Joyce loved raising and caring for her family, as their wife, mom, and grandma. She was a longtime member of Highview Christian Church and enjoyed gardening and spending time reading her Bible.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Private inurnment will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
