Obituary EUREKA- Joshua G. Short, 29, of Eureka passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at his residence. Josh was born June 14, 1985 in Lowell, MA to James Jr. and Dawn Domon Short. He is survived by his father, Jim of Florida, formerly of the Boston area and his mother, Dawn (Jim) Smith of Eureka; his daughter, Myarose Parker of Cherry Valley; siblings, James (Nicole) Short III of Niagara Falls, NY and Brandon Smith of Eureka; maternal grandmother, Shirley Domon of Akron, NY; and nephew, Alex Short of Niagara Falls, NY. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gordon Domon and paternal grandparents, Jim and Ruth Short. Josh worked for the last 6 months as a plumber's assistant with Klaus Plumbing in Eureka. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid fan of all Boston sports teams. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded.
