Obituary East Peoria - Josephine Grace Kingsland, 78 of East Peoria, passed away at 9:48 AM on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Josephine was born on March 13, 1934 in Delavan, IL. She married Earl Kingsland on March 15, 1953 in Groveland, IL. He survives. Also surviving are 4 sons, Phillip Kingsland of East Peoria, Rev. Curtis Kinsgland of Dayton, MD, Tim Kingsland of Hobart, IN and Mark Kingsland of CA; 8 grandchildren, Timothy Jr., Christopher, Jennifer, Matthew, Derek, Jacob, Allyna and Brock; one brother, Eugene Ott. Josephine was preceded in death by a son Daniel Kingsland, an infant daughter and two brothers, Wayne Ott and Bob Ott. Josephine worked as a cook in the ICC Cafeteria for 25 years until her retirement. She was a lover of life and the outdoors. She had such great faith in everyone that she met. Josephine and her husband were former members of Bethany Missionary Church and Oak Grove Bible Church. Funeral Services will take place at 1:30 PM on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Her son, Rev. Curtis Kingsland will officiate with interment to follow in Oak Grove Bible Church Cemetery in Groveland. Visitation will take place on Friday at the funeral home from 11:30 AM until the time of service.
