Obituary East Peoria- Joseph Lee Beyer, 60 of East Peoria, passed away at 2:01 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Joe was born on October 1, 1952 in Peoria, IL to Beverly Brander Beyer and the late Joseph Beyer. He married Mary Fremgen on June 16, 1979 in Peoria, IL. She survives. Also surviving are a son, John P. Beyer and a daughter, Mary Kate Beyer both of East Peoria, his mother and step-father Beverly and George Montgomery of Washburn, IL; a sister, Beverly (Jerry) Harrison of McMinnville, OR; a brother, Scott Beyer of Rockford, IL; proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. Joe formerly owned and operated Century Images for 10 years in Spring Bay. Joe was a printer for Pip Printing in Peoria last working in 2012. He was an avid gardener and shared his produce with local friends and neighbors. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and doing home projects. Joe was a Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks fan. Honoring Joe's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Military Services rendered by Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team and the United States Army will take place at 6:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria.
