Obituary WASHINGTON--John C. Morgan, 41, of Washington, died at 1:30 PM, on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at his residence. He was born on November 1, 1966 in Peoria, Illinois to Ralph and Barbara Strakowski Morgan. He married April A. Vines on August 4, 1990 in Washington; she survives. Also surviving are his 4 daughters, Johnie, Sydnie, Josie, and Sophie Morgan all of Washington; his father, Ralph E. Morgan of Washington; 1 brother, Michael (Gwen) Morgan of Peoria; 2 sisters, Jean (Dale) Null of Zeigler, IL, and Tina (Cameron) Skobel of Ramsey, MN; his grandmother, Mary Strakowski of Zeigler, IL; 6 nephews and 5 nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother. John worked for Caterpillar, Inc, for the past 9 years, and previously had worked for ICC for 10 years. John was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington where a funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, January 26, 2008. Father Joseph P. Donton will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 PM on Friday, January 25, 2008 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington, IL.
