Obituary John Lawrence Lee, 79, of Washington, passed away at 3:55 a.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at his home in Washington, IL. He was born on November 15, 1935, to Chester and Goldie (Richardson) Lee in Howard County, MO. John married Kay Gardner on June 26, 1984. She survives. He is also survived by his "special" daughter, Theresa (Buddy) Braun and grandson, Brandon Lee Braun of Metamora; and one brother, James (Emma) Lee of Columbia, MO. John started working at Caterpillar Tractor Co. in Peoria in 1953, retiring in 1998. He and his wife Kay spent many years collecting and restoring Model A Fords. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Model A Ford Foundation at P.O. Box 95151, Nonantum, MA 02495, http://maffi.org/index.htm, or to The Ark Humane Society at 477 IL-26 in Lacon, IL 61540. Per John's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is in charge of arrangements.
