John L. Bullard, 67, of Washington, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Carle Bromenn Medical Center in Normal, IL.

He was born October 29, 1955 in Quincy to the late Lyndle and Juanita (Lane) Bullard.  He married Rebecca "Becky" Atteberry in Mackinaw on August 9, 1980.  She survives.

Also surviving are two children, Matthew (Linda) Bullard, Christina (Tyler) Liston; six grandchildren, Lincoln, Edison, Hudson, Max, Penelope, Charlotte; sister, Wilena "Willie" Bullard; and several cousins.

John worked in auto body repair before retiring.  He was an accomplished wood worker, making beautiful furniture and other items. He also enjoyed camping and was a member of the Caterpillar Camping Club. He loved traveling the country with his family and friends. John was a member of the Allentown Community Hall.

Cremation has been accorded.  Family will receive friends Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 4 to 6pm at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
