Obituary JoeAnn Mallicoat, 81, of East Peoria, passed away at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Heartland of Riverview in East Peoria. She was born March 13, 1934 in Beardstown, IL to Harry E. and Jessie Fern Croxton Osborn. She married Donald Richard Mallicoat on December 31, 1952 in Rushville, IL. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Harley Osborn, Vernon Oliver Osborn, Wayne Osborn, John Oliver Osborn; and 2 sisters, Mary Lehmkuhl and Dorothy Jackson. Surviving are 3 children, Dixie (Roy) Pate of Creve Coeur, Theodore "Ted" (Lisa) Mallicoat of Morton, Thomas "Tom" (Shelly) Mallicoat of East Peoria; 6 grandchildren, Amy (Brad) Nevitt, Crissy Miller, Jeremy (Staci) Arnold, Tasha Mallicoat, Jody Mallicoat, Jessica (Bryan) Doyle; 4 great-grandchildren, Kurt "Kody", Tiffani, Austin, Jacob; 1 great-great-grandson, Jordan; and 1 sister, Hazel Looker of Chapin. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. A Graveside Service for JoeAnn will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Beardstown City Cemetery in Beardstown, IL. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is in charge of arrangements.
