Obituary EAST PEORIA - Jo Anne Prunty, 79, of Pekin, IL formerly of East Peoria, IL died at 5:45 pm Sunday March 28, 2010 at the home of her son. Born on September 5, 1930 in Peoria, IL to Herbert and MaryBelle Foltz Kinsall, she married William Prunty on October 23, 1957 in Macomb, IL. He died on March 23, 1993 in Peoria, IL. Surviving are 3 children: Rita (Donald) Murray and William C. "Chuck" Prunty, both of Pekin, IL, and Debra (Chris) Shelton of Peoria, IL, 1 sister, Wanita Jean Bradley of Swansea, IL, 3 grandchildren, Amy (Bobby) Schaeffer of Washington, IL, and Monica (Michael) Walker of East Peoria, IL and Jenna Shelton of Peoria, IL, and 5 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon, Joshua, Brianna, and Kayla. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a granddaughter, Jamie. Services for JoAnne will be at 10 am Friday, April 2, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Rev. Dr. Philip Icenogle will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
