Obituary JoAnn Rankin, 68, of East Peoria died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. JoAnn was born on February 27, 1949 in Lincoln,IL to John and Roletta Rich Hubner. She married Gary L. Rankin on December 7, 1992 in Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are two brothers, Johnny (Rita) Hubner of Tremont, Conrad (Mary) Hubner of Spring Lake and one granddaughter, Sydney LaBaron of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Kelly. JoAnn was a sheeter operator for International Paper in Peoria before she became the best co-pilot for 15 years for her husband, Gary. There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the Center for Abuse in Peoria.
