Joan "Joanne" Kolb, 83 of Washington, passed away at 3:00 pm Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 at Unity Point Health Proctor Hospital in Peoria. She was born July 22, 1935 in Brazil, IN to Golden and Violet Hoopingarner. She married Paul R. Kolb in Lincoln, IL on June 5, 1956. He preceded her in death on Oct. 23, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers; and 1 sister. Surviving are 3 children, Dennis, Sandy, and Richard all of Washington. Memorials may be made to the American Heart or Kidney Association. Cremation rites have been accorded. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Friday, Oct. 5, 2018 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Inurnment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens at a later date.
